Giggling like a schoolgirl at this mash up.
Incredible. And the Hot Rod reference was the icing on the cake. LOVE IT.

On my “places to visit” list.
KENORA FROM LAST YEAAAAR. It’s summer, and its been forever since I looked at these… seemed like a good opportunity to open them up
First and only reblog I’ll likely ever do! I love these photos, and not just because I’m being an absolute goofball in them. They’re a reminder of some fantastic times out in Kenora!
My response to being criticized for doing something my way instead of the way someone else wanted me to do it:
“Kindly stick that square peg up your round hole!”
I felt proud of that one, admittedly.
Chrono Cross - Lost Fragments
This song is reminiscent of my current emotion.
Rather unexpectedly, my mood did a complete 180 on me tonight. Suddenly, I can’t help but feel a hint of melancholy in the air. I mean, I’m okay — completely fine, nothing wrong with me. Just… off.
It’s one of those weird moods where I feel like seeking someone out to talk to, even though I have nothing to say. And even then, I’m not particularly interested in talking. Hence the reason I’m just making a post about it instead… kinda feels like the best of both worlds (no pun intended regarding the song from Chrono Cross).
An odd night tonight, have we?
… yep. Thoroughly impressed and also disappointed at the reality that my future wife will never own something so awesome.
I wonder if there’s a Meteorite Forging 101 course somewhere…
Random thought I’ve had recently about something that I would really like to try once in my lifetime…
To be done with a friend, partner, family member, etc. (could even be done with a long distance friend). Both of you will require cell phones and hopefully generously priced roaming texting plans.
Pick a destination in the world that you and your travel-mate would really like to visit. Plan a half-week/week long trip out to said place with travel-mate. Each one of you will pick alternating days to plan an itinerary (at said place) — note, you will not share this itinerary with your travel-mate.
Once you’ve arrived at your destination (if together, one of you will leave the airport early; if separate, the person who got there first can start ahead of time), the person leaving the airport (which we’ll refer to as the trailblazer) will start enacting their itinerary. As they reach a destination, they will text the other person (the seeker) a cryptic hint as to where they are.
From there will begin a series of events as the seeker hunts down the trailblazer, and if they manage to catch up to them, the two can enjoy the current itinerary location until the trailblazer leaves to go to their next destination — the seeker will either wait at their current location or do their own exploring until they receive the next location hint from the trailblazer.
This will continue until the end of the day, when the two will meet up (if they’re not already together by the last itinerary) at wherever they’re staying. The next day will commence with the roles reversed: the trailblazer becomes the seeker, and the seeker becomes the trailblazer.
Ultimately, it would lead to a trip filled with fun and adventure, as each person gets their turn to go to locations they really want, and allow the other the excitement of exploring this new and foreign location to seek them out.
I’d make up some rules or guidelines, but really, it’s not necessary… at its core, the idea of this is just to have fun traveling with someone else while still mixing it up enough to involve some degree of excitement, adventure, and competitiveness.
Addendum - Just because I realized it could be misunderstood, the places that each person would be visiting would all be within the same city/general location. Unless it just so happens that both participants are wealthy jetsetters that can hop on a plane at any given moment.
